The visitor mix reflects how fast Indian renewables have institutionalised. Engineering and construction contractors and project developers come to source modules, inverters and balance-of-system components. Utilities and state power officials come for policy and procurement. A growing contingent comes for storage and green hydrogen, which are earlier in their cycle and draw more exploratory conversations. Rooftop installers and distributors form the long tail: smaller volumes, far greater numbers.

Working the floor

• Greater Noida is a long drive from central Delhi and most visitors arrive mid-morning. Expect a compressed rush rather than a steady flow.
• The distributor and installer tail is where volume lives. They move quickly between stands, so capture has to take seconds.
• Storage and hydrogen enquiries are exploratory and often from outside the usual sector. Tag them separately from module and inverter leads or the pipeline reads far warmer than it is.
• Air quality in Delhi NCR can be poor in October, so staff rotation matters more than usual across three full days.
