Event attribution without thinking about it

Ask anyone with 60 cards in their jacket which came from which conference and you get guesses. Karo makes attribution automatic: start a session by messaging "Hi", choose Event, type the name once and every subsequent capture carries that tag. Sessions lapse after 48 hours so stale tags never pollute next week's leads, and you can switch events mid-day with a single /event command.

Capturing outside an event? Choose General purpose instead and your pipeline stays clean, captures are never blocked just because you forgot to pick a mode.

Frequently asked questions

How does event tagging work?+

Message "Hi" to the bot, choose Event, and type the event name. Every card captured afterwards is tagged with it automatically. Sessions expire after 48 hours of inactivity, or switch anytime with /event NAME.

Can I capture leads for two different events on the same day?+

Yes, switch the active event at any moment with /event NAME. Each capture is tagged with whatever event was active when you sent the photo. Team members can each run different events at the same time.

What if I forget to start an event session?+

Captures are never blocked. Cards save as General purpose with a gentle reminder, and you can edit any contact's event field in the dashboard afterwards.

Can I export just one event's leads?+

Yes. The dashboard search covers event names, filter by the event, select all, and export that slice as its own CSV.

How many scans do I need for a typical conference?+

Most attendees collect 30–100 cards per event. The Team plan (2,000 scans shared across up to 3 seats, valid 12 months) comfortably covers a full season of conferences, current prices are on the Karo pricing page.
